The Cicely Northcote Trust have provided two years of funding to the Friends of Archbishop Park's Gardening Club. The Gardening Club is a weekly gardening and well being club which improves the local park as well as the mental and physical health of local residents. Working with a gardening therapist the group meet weekly in the garden taking full advantage of the well regarded benefits of gardening such as being outdoors, nurturing plants and regular light exercise. The group are also planning trips to local gardens and garden museums and some larger well being events to highlight the health benefits of plants and gardening.
